Illuminate KW Coaching
Hi, I’m Kirsten.
I spent 20 years working in the education sector. By the end of my career, I was burnt out. I struggled to articulate what I was feeling. I was trapped in people pleasing behaviours, conditioned to prioritise everyone else’s needs above my own.
After having some therapy, I embarked on my new adventure. I’ll be forever grateful to the team at Adventures After Teaching. They helped me discover new business skills and welcomed me into a wonderful community. I’m also completing my ICF coaching qualification with To Become.
I learned how to sit with the uncomfortable questions: Who was I if I wasn’t a teacher? What do I want? What does it mean to me to be a woman? That messy, beautiful journey bought me to coaching.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me walking in Derbyshire, dancing to house music and trying to not wobble in my standing bow pose.
Mission
Illuminate KW Coaching exists to challenge the conditioning that tells women to put everyone else first. Illuminate exists to give creative women space to reclaim their creative identity.
